"Experience"

We inform you about the basic course regarding the contents of the experience dyeing.

If you are new to indigo dyeing, or if you are new to indigo dyeing with natural lye fermentation, we recommend that you start with handkerchief dyeing.

 

       "Cotton handkerchief dyeing"

       Fee: ¥2,000-

       Experience time: Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes

       Content: Approximately 40 cm square cotton handkerchief    

       will be squeezed to dye.

       In addition to how to squeeze and dye, I will also talk about  

       indigo dyeing.

 

       Besides the basic course,

      ・I want to change the dyeing material.

      ・I want to change the quantity of dyed items.

       We respond flexibly to changes in the contents.

 

"Preparation"

Gloves and apron will be rented for free.

With regard to clothes, you do not need to wear heavy clothing as the workshop is designed to have an appropriate temperature by heating and cooling.

Please wear clothes that are easy to move, and you can easily roll your arms up to your elbows. Skirts are not recommended.

There is no locker room where you can change your clothes.
